What are the northern lights?

Laplands Majesty Awaits You

The Northern Lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis, are a natural light show that dances across the Arctic skies. This breathtaking phenomenon occurs when charged particles from the sun collide with gases in Earth’s atmosphere, creating glowing waves of color that shimmer across the night sky.

Most commonly seen in shades of green, but sometimes purple, pink, or even red, the Aurora is visible only in certain parts of the world, and Lapland is one of the very best places to witness it.

We had a great time! Our guide Jesse was super friendly and drove as to two spaces where we could see the Northern Lights. From the beginning we were told about the conditions and whether we have to drive for a long time or stay in the area around Rovaniemi.

The trip was really great! Even though the probability of seeing the Northern Lights was small, we finally saw them in Sweden and they were beautiful! Thank you for such a great experience

Roni and Yasmin were amazing guides!
We stopped after an hour of driving and saw subtle light activity. After waiting for 20 mins, the light became so vibrant and it started dancing right above us!

By far the best experience we had during our stay in Finland!!! Jesse is a real aurora hunter… he drove us during two nights (first night was too cloudy) far in the north, even in Sweden to get the right spot! The result was far beyond our expectations, northern lights explosion just above us, magical!!! Thanks a lot. We wish you the best!!!

We had a long drive but the guide kept us informed the whole way there and was very attentive. The drive was comfortable and we also got some snacks on the way. Felt welcomed and looked after. Also saw a few reindeer during the drive! 😊

Jesse and his team are true aurora hunters, experienced, unstoppable and a bit... crazy: despite the overcast sky they were not discouraged and took us to the heart of Swedish Lapland to allow us to admire the beautiful aurora! After a few days they also sent us the photos they took during the evening. Fantastic!

Really a nice squad! Photos have become outstanding. The places you drive to are beautiful! It costs a little more, but is worth every penny!
